North Norfolk Labour Party has tonight expressed its sadness at the loss of popular Labour MP Jo Cox, who was killed in a shooting incident in her constituency in West Yorkshire.
Jo was a well-liked and well respected Member of Parliament. She was held in high regard not only on the Labour benches but by members of all parties.

Tonight the North Norfolk Labour Party read out Jeremy’s statement, and held a minute’s silent in memory of Jo. The party condemned the killing for being a senseless attack on our democracy.
The EU street stall planned for Saturday has now been cancelled as a mark of respect.
