North Norfolk Labour Party has announced its candidates for the eleven North Norfolk divisions in May’s county council elections. The party hopes to build on the 2013 county council elections when it almost won two seats in North Walsham West & Erpingham and Fakenham.
Labour’s 2017 county council candidates are:
- Cromer – Jane Worsdale
- Fakenham – Imogen Bruce
- Holt – Richard Kelham
- Hoveton & Stalham – Mandy McKenna
- Melton Constable – Callum Ringer
- Mundesley – Ray Mooney
- North Walsham East – Jacqui Cross
- North Walsham West & Erpingham – David Spencer
- Sheringham – Sue Brisbane
- South Smallburgh – David Russell
- Wells – Stephen Burke
Chair of North Norfolk Labour Party, Stephen Burke, said: “May’s elections give North Norfolk residents a say on the future of their county. Key services like care for older people and education for our children need investment. Norfolk has a lot to offer but we must ensure that all our residents benefit and prosper.
“Local people are fed up with the Tories and have been let down by the Lib Dems. Labour offers a real alternative for change in North Norfolk and across the county.”
